Galaxy Far Far Away ATC Swap

I recently started up an ATC swap with a sci-fi theme. It is open to all sci-fi, though my cards ended up having a definate Star Wars mashup theme to them.

Lets face it, as an alien Jar Jar Binks was more failure than success. Most Star Wars fans would like to see him run into something particularly nasty like a sarlac pit.

Excelling at particularly nasty is Ridley scott’s Alien franchise utilizing the creepily beautiful artwork of H.R. Geiger.

This card brings the terror of the xenomorph to the most hated of Gungans.

I recently purchased a wonderful shirt from Tee Fury that is a warning sign with a picture of the death star. It says: Warning battle station may explode if small teddy bear like creatures with sticks for weapons shut down the shield generator on a nearby moon. Or something like that. That is kinds where the seed for this idea came from. If that idea had bastard children with the Leeloo Dallas Multipass Meme

Here’s a take on another star wars meme. You have most likely seen the demotivational poster of the stormtrooper with regret that those were the droids he was looking for. This is a play on the scene from the original Star Wars where Obi Wan Kenobi uses his Jedi Mind powers to convince the stormtroopers that C3P0 and R2D2 were not the droids they were looking for.

This however raises the question, how did the troopers know what droids they were looking for? Mos Eisley must have been filled with droids, except in The Cantina. Here we see the troop Sargent showing the warning poster with images of the droids to the troopers before they go on patrol. There is no excuse for not finding them.
